Denali Dog Obedience School has been a respected Upstate New York source for owner-friendly dog obedience training for over 45 years in Ontario, Livingston, Monroe and Wayne Counties.

AKC Testing Certified Trainers

We offer five levels of dog and puppy training taught by our AKC Testing Certified Trainers. We teach Obedience, Trick Dog, Therapy Dogs, Tracking and AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy, AKC Canine Good Citizen. We are family-owned, fully insured and fully qualified to help you develop a stronger bond with your dog.

Private Lessons

Denali Dog Obedience School emphasizes positive reinforcement when training puppies and dogs of all ages and breeds. Private lessons are offered in Victor, NY. ALL lessons are tailored to the individual needs of each owner and their dog.

With guidance from your certified instructor, your dog will:

  • Come to you every time when you say “Come”
  • Greet people without jumping on them
  • Stop biting your hands and feet
  • Walk calmly on a leash without pulling
  • Ride happily in the car
  • Stay when you say “Stay”
  • Stop barking when you say “Quiet”
  • Lie quietly next to your chair at mealtimes without begging
  • Learn how to alert you to go “potty” outside

We specialize in teaching the importance of positive reinforcement when training your canine companion. Rewarding their good behavior teaches your dog to unlearn bad habits and behaviors faster while also allowing you and your dog to build a stronger bond. We also have a large, fenced area for “puppy playtime,” giving your puppy an opportunity to socialize with other dogs in a safe, supervised environment.
